1. Who we are

Kitty & Kit at kittyandkit.com is operated by Zentrady Kft., a Hungarian limited liability company (Zentrady Llc), registered at Szertár utca 5, Budapest, 1163, Hungary. Company registration: 01-09-443421. Hungarian tax number: 32802973-2-42. EU VAT: HU32802973. In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean this operator, trading as Kitty & Kit.

These Terms govern use of our store and purchases from us, together with our Return and Refund Policy and Shipping Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is processed. Using the website does not by itself constitute consent to optional marketing or non-essential tracking.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter a purchase contract in your jurisdiction, or act with appropriate authorization. Please provide accurate order and contact details and use only payment methods you are authorized to use. Keep your account credentials secure and notify us of suspected unauthorized use. Our store is intended for adult purchasers.

3. Products and safe use

The product description and any express promises shown when you order form part of your purchase terms. Screen settings may affect how colors appear. We may update listings prospectively, but changes do not retrospectively remove agreed product characteristics or consumer rights. Follow product instructions, warnings, and age or suitability restrictions. Where products are intended for pets, select an appropriate size and supervise use where needed; discontinue use of damaged products. Website information is not individualized veterinary advice. These precautions do not waive our obligations regarding product safety or conformity.

4. Orders, acceptance, and cancellations

Placing an order is an offer to purchase the identified goods at the displayed total. An automated receipt acknowledgement does not itself confirm acceptance unless it expressly says so. We confirm acceptance by an express acceptance message or dispatch confirmation. We may decline an order for a legitimate reason, such as unavailable stock, inability to deliver, suspected fraud, or an obvious pricing error, subject to applicable law. We will notify you and promptly refund any payment for a declined or cancelled order.

We will not substitute goods or charge a higher price without your agreement. Contact us promptly to request cancellation or an address correction. Once fulfillment has progressed we may be unable to stop dispatch, but our return policy and mandatory cancellation rights remain available. A shipping delay will be handled as described in our Shipping Policy, including consent to a revised dispatch time or a prompt refund where required.

5. Prices, currency, taxes, and payment

The applicable price, currency, shipping charges, and taxes collected by us are displayed at checkout before payment. The currency displayed at checkout governs your transaction; your bank may charge separate conversion or transaction fees. Promotions apply according to their disclosed conditions. We do not change the agreed price after purchase without your consent.

International deliveries, including Canada, may involve import duties, taxes, or carrier clearance charges. Charges collected by us are identified at checkout; any duty-inclusive delivery promise shown there will be honored. Where charges are not prepaid, customs or the carrier may request payment before delivery. Contact us before ordering if the treatment is unclear. 6. Shipping and risk

We fulfill orders from a US warehouse. Standard processing is 1–3 days; estimated transit is 3–7 days within the United States and up to 30 days internationally after dispatch. Availability depends on the destination and options offered at checkout. See our Shipping Policy for details and delay remedies.

We remain responsible for our obligations to deliver the goods. Subject to mandatory law, risk of loss transfers when you or your designated recipient physically receive the order, rather than merely when we hand it to our carrier. Please contact us about a lost, damaged, or missing parcel so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.

7. Returns, refunds, and warranties

You may request an eligible return within 30 days after delivery. We pay eligible return shipping costs from the United States and Canada. Email us first; we will provide the designated US return address and a prepaid label or another return arrangement at our expense. Do not return items to our Hungarian registered office. Our voluntary return period is additional to any statutory guarantee, warranty, cancellation right, or remedy. No “final sale” designation or return condition excludes rights for defective, unsafe, or misdescribed products. We do not disclaim mandatory warranties of quality, fitness, durability, or conformity.

8. Shopify and third-party services

Shopify hosts and powers our store. Your purchase contract is with Zentrady Kft., trading as Kitty & Kit, rather than Shopify. Shopify and payment or delivery providers may process information or provide their own services under their applicable terms. This does not remove our responsibility as the seller or any rights you have against a provider under applicable law. External links are provided for convenience; review a third party’s terms and privacy information before using its services.

9. Website content and acceptable use

Our website content and branding belong to us or our licensors. You may browse and use the store for lawful shopping and retain copies needed for your own records. You may not infringe intellectual property, misuse another person’s information, submit fraudulent orders, distribute malware, disrupt the site, or bypass security controls. We may restrict access proportionately for misuse, without withholding legally owed refunds or preventing you from exercising consumer rights.

10. Reviews and submissions

You retain ownership of content you submit. For a review submitted for publication, you grant us a non-exclusive permission to display and reproduce it for store operation and promotion, subject to applicable law and your privacy rights. You must have the necessary rights to submit it and disclose any incentive. We may moderate unlawful, abusive, irrelevant, or fraudulent material, but will not suppress an honest review solely because it is negative. Private customer-service messages are not permission to publish your personal information or testimonial.

11. Website availability and liability

We take reasonable care in operating the site, but cannot promise uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for losses arising solely from business use of a consumer purchase. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where exclusion is unlawful, defective products where liability is mandatory, or any non-excludable consumer right. Where a limitation is prohibited, including under applicable Quebec law, it does not apply. Your statutory remedies remain available.

12. Governing law and consumer protections

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections available under the laws applicable where you habitually reside. US federal and state and Canadian federal, provincial, or territorial rights, including Quebec rights where applicable, remain unaffected. Nothing requires you to bring a claim exclusively in Hungary where the law permits proceedings in your home jurisdiction. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive any non-waivable right to bring or participate in a claim.

13. Changes and severability

We may update these Terms for future use and orders and will give any notice required by law. The terms applicable when you placed an accepted order continue to govern that order unless you agree otherwise or law requires a change. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of legal rights.
